Bach and Ballet

On Sunday, December 17th at 4:00 pm at The Perch at Hawks and Reed Performing Arts in Greenfield, Conway Fine Arts presents ‘Ballet and Bach: JS Bach’s Suite 3 in C and Suite 5 in c minor.’ An exciting combination of sight and sound, Mikayla Archambeau’s original dance choreography tells the story of our hilltown’s resilience and an artist’s progress. Timeless classics performed on viola by Geoffrey Archambeau, Bach’s cello suites explore our human heights and depths. Mikayla is currently the director of Amherst Ballet, and has previously performed professionally with the Kansas City Ballet. This is Mikayla’s first professional effort at choreography and her area debut as a dancer. This performance is sponsored in part by the Conway, Goshen, and Greenfield Cultural Councils.

Tickets are by donation and available at the door on the day of the performance. The program will run approximately 1 hour including intermission, so it makes a great date night – see the show and then grab drinks or dinner!
