Geoffrey Baker Archambeau, viola, is the Artistic Director of Conway Fine Arts.

He produced and led the recent premieres of the Heirloom Music Festival and the Opus Amadeus chamber orchestra, ‘Concerts in the Park’ in Piedmont, California, during the pandemic, and ‘Music At Ethical,’ a series at the Ethical Society building on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

As a viola soloist, Geoffrey collaborated with conductor Daniel Kujala and the Bryn Athyn Orchestra in Max Bruch’s Double Concerto.

Geoffrey has performed with the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Reading Symphony, and the Graz opera festival in Austria. Geoffrey studied at the Peabody Conservatory, the Yale School of Music, Northern Illinois University, and the Eastman School with Joseph DePasquale, Jesse Levine, and the Tokyo and Vermeer string quartets.

Geoffrey recently attended the Pierre Monteux School as a conductor and a violist, leading the Monteux Festival Orchestra in three concerts.
