Beethoven in Conway

On Friday, August 4th at 7 p.m., cellist Douglas McNames joins violinist Sarah Briggs and violist Geoffrey Archambeau in an all-Beethoven program in Conway at St. Mark’s Church, 169 Delabarre Avenue. A remarkable acoustic environment, St. Mark’s sanctuary features beautiful stained glass windows donated by notable locals, including Jill Kerr Conway, past president of Smith College. The first known concert in the church’s history, which dates to 1879, promises a brief yet exciting opportunity to hear the revolutionary spirit of Beethoven in Conway. Suggested donation: $25. A fundraising effort, all proceeds will go to building our educational efforts and bringing high quality programming to Franklin County.
